 TiVo Inc. (NASDAQ: TIVO), a leader in advanced television services, including digital video recorders (DVRs), has announced that starting today TiVo® Premiere and TiVo® Premiere XL boxes are available for purchase today. Taking the enjoyment of home entertainment one step further, TiVo Premiere and TiVo Premiere XL will enable you to combine access to cable programming, movies, web videos, and music into one box, and on a stunning new HD interface.
"We are thrilled to offer TiVo Premiere . TiVo Premiere is designed to serve as the one box that replaces your cable box as well as being your movie box, web box, music box and DVR too. While other hardware and service options may seem less expensive, TiVo combines everything you need into one box and we offer service pricing well below most cable offerings," said TiVo's Vice President and General Manager of Product Marketing, Jim Denney. "And this new platform is built on Adobe Flash software, which provides a strong foundation for continued innovation to allow for the future rollout of new features and functionality."
